Type Locality and Naming

Type section at Shangkuli village in Ergum You Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Named by No.2 Heilongjiang Regional Geological Survey Team, 1981, Explanatory Text for 1∶200 000 Scale Geological Map: Genhe Sheet, Sanhezhen Sheet. An upper formation in this regional version of the Xinganling Gr.
